Business Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with Hogan system experience to support banking and financial services initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, experience working with Hogan banking systems, and the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
• Work extensively with Hogan Banking Systems (Deposits, Loans, CIS, etc.) to support business processes.
• Analyse existing systems and processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement walkthrough sessions.
• Support system integration efforts involving Hogan and other banking platforms.
• Participate in solution design and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Assist in testing (UAT), defect management, and implementation support.
• Ensure documentation is maintained, including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and user stories.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within financial services.
• Proven experience working with Hogan Banking Systems (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of core banking processes (loans, deposits, customer information systems).
• Experience with system integration, APIs, and legacy systems.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modelling, and documentation.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, FTI, or equivalent).
• Experience in banking or financial institutions (highly advantageous).
• Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools is a plus.
