About the Role

As a Business Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in shaping our key initiatives around tariff mitigation and transportation analytics. This position requires a skilled analyst adept in financial data interpretation, offering you the chance to make a tangible impact on our operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Tariff Mitigation & Recovery: Analyze global import/export data for potential tariff savings and support timely recovery programs.
• Collaboration: Work with Global Trade Compliance and regional teams to validate assessments and track regulatory impacts.
• Forecasting: Build models to estimate the financial implications of tariff changes.
• Freight & Transportation Analytics: Assess freight spend and performance metrics to identify savings and improve operations.
• Dashboard Development: Create automated tools to monitor costs, carrier performance, and shipment trends.
• Support Negotiations: Provide valuable data insights for global freight negotiations.
• Reporting & Tools: Build and maintain reports using tools such as Power BI and Excel, enhancing data integrity and quality.
• Insight Presentation: Effectively communicate insights to leadership and cross-functional teams, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.

Your Experience and Skills

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on supply chain analytics, trade compliance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI (or similar BI tools).
• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to convey insights effectively to diverse teams.
• A keen eye for detail, essential for identifying discrepancies and improving processes.
