Business Analyst, Mid

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a functional or cross-functional business area, such as Information Technology, Project Management, GEOINT, or Information Assurance
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with specialized tools, such as MS Visio, MS Project, or JIRA
• Experience in project management, process improvement methodologies, Six Sigma, and leadership
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor’s Degree in a business, management, or a related technical field is required or 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or ITIL Certifications
• Possession of excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required

Responsibilities

• As a Business Analyst, you’ll be a subject matter expert and program leader responsible for analyzing organizational needs, managing complex initiatives, and driving significant improvements across the enterprise
• This role blends hands-on analytical and staff support functions with strategic leadership to enhance business processes, ensure compliance, and guide programs within a specialized domain
• Operating with increasing autonomy, you will handle tasks ranging from assisting with policies and IT audit support to leading major process re-engineering projects
• You'll utilize deep expertise to manage projects, advise leadership, mentor team members, and ensure the successful alignment of programs with strategic objectives
• Conduct research and analysis to develop reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for leadership
• Lead and manage projects and business process improvements, including planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking
• Supporting developing and aligning strategic guidance, policies, and performance assessments to organizational goals
• Provide subject matter expertise and oversight in areas such as IT strategy, cybersecurity, risk management, and continuity planning
• Collaborate with senior leaders and mentor teams to drive initiatives, resolve issues, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• To support engagement and effective communication, employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings
• Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility
• Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role
• You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility
• Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role
