A Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying solutions, and helping organizations improve processes, systems, and operations. They act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and project managers to implement solutions
Create process models, workflows, and business requirement documents (BRDs)
Support testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT)
Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet business goals
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar
Experience with requirement gathering and documentation techniques
Understanding of business processes and system analysis
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools
Experience working with CRM/ERP systems
