Our Human Centred Transformation offering provides clients with the advice and delivery support that they need in their business transformation and technology programmes. Business Analysis consultants bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by analysing processes, gathering requirements, and providing recommendations to drive effective decision-making and deliver value to stakeholders. Responsibilities

Within the role you will have responsibility for bringing your sector and technical expertise along with broader consulting skills to:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals, while building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather requirements and insights.
  • Document and analyse business processes, workflows, and systems, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience through technology adoption.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of change management strategies to support technology implementation.
  • Develop user training materials, guides, and communication plans to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology adoption initiatives, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work as part of a project team to deliver client engagements on time and within budget, supporting project planning, tracking, and reporting activities.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and other deliverables for clients to support decision-making.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technology adoption, conducting research to inform client recommendations.

Skills and Professional Experience

We are currently looking for candidates with proven ability to apply knowledge and expertise in a range of client scenarios, focusing on high quality even in high pressured, time critical situations, and with skills across the following areas:

  • Proven experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder analysis, and gap analysis.
  • Documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Ability to work with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business, strategy and policy stakeholders, and product roles like developers, testers, technical architects and product managers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing client relationships, including previous consulting experience or working in a client-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain working relationships with diverse and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and remain detail orientated.
  • Experience of leading business development activity in the business analysis space.

Personal Independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints.
