The Opportunity
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in product development and professional service contracts. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients and our development team, ensuring that our Rhino product aligns with client requirements and objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing client requirements, identifying opportunities for product improvement, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gain a deep understanding of client needs.
- Product Alignment: Maintain a keen focus on our Rhino product and its capabilities. Identify opportunities to align the product with client requirements and business objectives.
- Requirement Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive requirement documents, including functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, and user stories. Ensure that requirements are detailed, well-structured, and traceable.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data and gather insights to support data‑driven decision‑making and recommendations for product enhancements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between clients and the development team, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project goals. Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Product Enhancement: Collaborate with the development team to propose and prioritize changes, updates, and enhancements to the Rhino product based on client feedback and market trends.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and testing activities to ensure that the product meets the specified requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and issues related to project scope, timeline, and resources. Develop mitigation plans to address these challenges.
- Project Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and status updates, to keep stakeholders informed.
- Client Training: Provide client training and support as needed to ensure successful product implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on product development and professional service contracts.
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience working with cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate effective meetings and workshops.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques.
- Data analysis skills, with the ability to derive insights from data.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends.
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI‑PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus
