Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support project delivery through structured documentation, requirements management, and process clarity.

This role is highly focused on:

  • Requirements elicitation and documentation
  • Project artifacts and governance support
  • Traceability and audit readiness

This is not a strategy-only BA role-you will be responsible for producing high-quality, structured documentation that directly supports delivery success.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years as a Business Analyst in structured project environments
  • 3+ years experience:
    • Eliciting and documenting business requirements
    • Developing SOWs, project charters, and scope documentation

Core Skills

  • Strong experience creating:
    • Business requirements
    • Use cases
    • Functional specifications
  • Experience documenting:
    • Current-state and future-state processes
  • Proven ability to:
    • Maintain requirements traceability
    • Develop acceptance criteria
    • Support UAT documentation

Project & Documentation Experience

  • Experience preparing:
    • Meeting summaries
    • Decision logs
    • Stakeholder documentation
  • Strong documentation organization and repository management skills

Collaboration

  • Experience working with:
    • Project Managers
    • Technical teams
    • Business stakeholders

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, IT, or related field)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOW), project charters, and scope documentation
  • Create structured artifacts including:
    • Business requirements documents (BRDs)
    • Use cases
    • Functional specifications
  • Document current-state and future-state processes using workflow diagrams
  • Maintain requirements traceability across:
    • Design
    • Development
    • Testing
  • Develop acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Produce project documentation including:
    • Meeting summaries
    • Decision logs
    • Stakeholder communications
  • Maintain organized documentation repositories for audit and transparency
  • Collaborate with:
    • Project Managers
    • Technical teams
    • Business stakeholders

Requirements & Documentation

  • Gather and document business needs with precision
  • Translate stakeholder input into structured, actionable requirements
  • Ensure completeness, clarity, and consistency across all artifacts

Process Analysis

  • Document and analyze current-state and future-state workflows
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities

Traceability & Validation

  • Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements
  • Support testing and validation to ensure delivered solutions meet expectations

Project Governance Support

  • Develop and maintain:
    • SOWs
    • Project charters
    • Governance artifacts
  • Ensure alignment with project objectives and scope

Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as liaison between business and technical teams
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and stakeholder alignment

What Will NOT Be a Fit

  • Business Analysts focused only on strategy (not documentation)
  • Candidates without structured requirements experience
  • Profiles lacking SOW/charter development experience
  • Candidates not willing to work fully onsite
