Business Analyst (Sales Return Analyst)

SALES / RETURN ORDER ANALYST

Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ | Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sales/Return Order Analyst to support order processing, returns management, and vendor compliance. This role partners cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies, ensure operational accuracy, and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

ORDER MANAGEMENT

• Manage end-to-end sales and return order processing, including entry, updates, and tracking
• Perform monthly maintenance of aged orders in alignment with global standards
• Communicate Return Authorization (RA) status and updates with assigned accounts

RESEARCH & RECONCILIATION

• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies to ensure data accuracy
• Process pricing adjustments through debit and credit memos

VENDOR COMPLIANCE

• Review and dispute vendor compliance violations through detailed research
• Track and report valid violations to identify trends and reduce future risk

CUSTOMER SUPPORT

• Serve as primary contact for order and return-related inquiries
• Resolve issues promptly while maintaining a high standard of customer experience

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in order management, returns processing, or similar role
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Technical Skills

• ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Advanced Excel (PowerPivot, Get & Transform) preferred

Preferred Experience

• Background in supply chain or order management environments
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
