UAT/Business Analyst

We’re seeking a hands‑on SAP Payroll UAT Analyst to support payroll system changes and enhancements. This role is heavily focused on UAT/testing, not traditional functional BA work. Ideal candidates can step in quickly and operate independently with minimal ramp‑up.

Role: UAT/Business Analyst
Duration: 12 months
Location: On‑site, Tempe, AZ 85281
Pay: Starts at $60/hour (W2 only; Corp‑to‑Corp (C2C) arrangements are not accepted)
Requirement: SAP Payroll experience required (non‑negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Execute and support UAT testing for SAP Payroll changes and enhancements
• Validate end‑to‑end payroll processing, including regular cycles and complex exception scenarios
• Test SAP payroll configurations and customizations
• Partner with Payroll, HR, and technical teams to ensure requirements are met
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Support testing efforts across ongoing and upcoming payroll initiatives
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across all payroll system updates

Requirements

• 7+ years overall SAP experience with strong technical understanding
• 4+ years recent, hands‑on SAP Payroll testing/UAT experience
• Deep knowledge of payroll operations and payroll exception handling
• Proven experience supporting SAP payroll customizations or transformations
• Strong UAT documentation, validation, and defect‑tracking skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
