Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst Specialist to operate at a strategic level across our Group Technology environment.

This role is responsible for bridging business strategy, processes, and technology, ensuring that business needs are translated into scalable, sustainable, and future-fit solutions. The successful candidate will work across complex, enterprise-wide initiatives, engaging senior stakeholders and operating comfortably in ambiguity.

The BA Specialist will connect business vision to execution, shaping both current-state understanding and future-state design across processes, systems, and data.

Key Responsibilities • Strategic Business Analysis • Engage with senior stakeholders to understand and shape business strategy and objectives • Translate strategic goals into business capabilities, operating models, and technology requirements • Provide input into enterprise-wide transformation initiatives • Enterprise & Capability Modelling • Develop and maintain business architecture views (capabilities, value streams, processes, information flows) • Create current-state and future-state models across business, data, and technology domains • Ensure alignment between business architecture and IT architecture • Requirements & Solution Alignment • Elicit, analyse, and document complex business requirements at both high-level and detailed levels • Ensure requirements align with enterprise strategy, governance, and standards • Facilitate translation of business needs into solution designs and technical specifications • Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation • Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders • Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions, and decision-making forums • Navigate high levels of ambiguity and complexity across multiple stakeholders • Process & Operating Model Design • Analyse and optimise business processes and workflows • Support the design of target operating models • Ensure solutions are efficient, scalable, and adaptable • End-to-End Business Analysis Delivery • Operate across the full BA lifecycle:

Experience

Required Experience & Skills • 10+ years' experience in Business Analysis, with significant exposure at senior or specialist level • Proven experience in enterprise-wide or large-scale transformation programmes • Strong experience in banking or financial services environments (highly preferred)

Core Skills • Deep expertise in business analysis frameworks (e.g. BABOK) • Strong capability in:
