Business Analyst Specialist

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, combining structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work for enhanced productivity and work-life balance. Alternate locations may be considered.

The Business Analyst Specialist will play a crucial role in transforming business needs into actionable software requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business needs to determine effective solutions.
• Identify specific software requirements to fulfill business objectives.
• Collaborate with programming teams to ensure requirements are integrated into system design and testing.
• Serve as a liaison with software users to resolve queries and issues.
• Maintain operational reports and documentation effectively.
• Apply standardized tools and processes consistently across tasks.
• Work alongside team members to meet quality and operational goals.
• Enhance skills in analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant business analysis experience, or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Strong understanding of systems capabilities and business operations.
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, and aggregations for data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI (PBI) for dashboard development, including DAX and data modeling.
• Solid background in reporting and analytics, capable of building high-level operational and executive reports.
• Understanding of relational database concepts.
• Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and analytics/reporting teams, translating requirements into actionable insights.
