About

A full-time position within OTR Operations (Order to Remittance), responsible for addressing process improvement needs for both new and existing tools, planning and leading Operations project initiatives, as well as identifying and driving process efficiency gains in collaboration with other teams such as Logistics, Finance, IT, and other related functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of the OTR teams (Order Management, S&OP, HPM) and translate them into management tools and automations.
  • Integrate data from multiple GE systems into a single data source.
  • Develop code using software engineering best practices, including version control with Git.
  • Act as a focal point for internal GE solutions (such as Support Central, reports, communities, and workflows) as well as other tools developed for Operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ and VBA.
  • Strong data management skills, including working with SQL queries and database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL.
  • Knowledge about cloud services such as AWS
  • Knowledge of scalability and containerization using Docker is desirable.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent execution capability with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Adaptability / flexibility: openness to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or ability to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Integrity: acceptance of and adherence to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and interactions with others.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
