Job Title: Business Analyst – Treasury / Market Risk

Duration: Contract

Location: Hybrid (Toronto, ON)

Overview:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting data strategy initiatives focused on Market Risk and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP). This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to drive analysis, define business requirements, and support project delivery across treasury-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: • Act as SME across treasury, market risk, and FTP-related initiatives • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and data needs • Review regression testing results and validate variances • Collaborate with stakeholders to align on project scope, deliverables, and outcomes • Support process mapping, workflow improvements, and change management • Prepare and present updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership • Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights

Required Qualifications: • Strong background in treasury, asset/liability management (ALM), and FTP concepts • Experience within capital markets or retail banking environments • Advanced SQL and Excel skills • Strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities • Proven experience delivering on complex, cross-functional projects

Nice-to-Have: • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools • Exposure to Azure, Databricks, or Python • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies

Additional Details: • Daily stakeholder interaction within internal teams • Significant involvement in project meetings (2–3 hours/day)
