Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a Connecticut State Office project. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of Business Analyst experience and strong Medicaid domain knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Work closely with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to define project scope and objectives
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
• Prepare business requirement documents, process flows, use cases, and gap analysis
• Support testing activities including UAT, defect tracking, and validation of requirements
• Facilitate meetings, discussions, and status updates with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid policies, regulations, and state requirements
• Assist in process improvement and support implementation activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong experience in Medicaid projects/programs
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a government or public sector environment is preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment after initial onsite onboarding

Additional Information

• Candidate must be available to work onsite for the first 2 days for mandatory security training and laptop issuance
• After the initial onsite requirement, this position will be remote/work from home
