About

For our client, we are looking for a Business Analyst in Payment Transactions. Your main task will be the analysis and design of processes, requirements management, and documentation in the area of modern payment transaction systems.

Responsibilities

• Active contribution and promotion of an agile mindset within the team
• Independent execution of business analyses of existing processes and systems in payment transactions
• Structured documentation of requirements, results, and processes
• Creation of business and system descriptions
• Modeling using UML (e.g., use cases, activity or sequence diagrams)
• Ensuring the transparency and traceability of all requirements and solutions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., PSD2, SEPA, AML)
• Central interface function between business units, product owners, developers, and other stakeholders
• Translation of business requirements into technical specifications
• Use of Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation
• Support in building and maintaining backlogs, user stories, and epics
• Ideally, contribution of expertise in payment transactions, especially in international payment transactions

Requirements

• Studies in (Business) Informatics or (Banking) Business Administration, as well as relevant professional experience in the described area of responsibility
• Very good knowledge of requirements management and process analysis
• Experience in regulated payment transaction environments (e.g., PSD2, SEPA, AML)
• Experience with UML modeling
• Confident use of Jira and Confluence
• Very good communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong quality awareness
• German language skills at least C1
