As a Business Analyst (m/f/d) in Payment Transactions, you will shape the future of our central payment transaction platform together with the business department and external partners (m/f/d). You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new processes – from analysis, conception, and coordination to testing and go-live – while also ensuring the smooth operation of daily payment transaction flows. Through your work, you will continuously develop our payment transaction system, making you a key player (m/f/d) for efficient and secure payment processes in our company.
Your Contribution to the "WE"
- Application Support for the Payment Transaction System: Coordinate requirements with the business department and service providers (m/f/d), conceptualize and document new workflows and processes, manage integrations into surrounding systems, and support release planning and testing.
- Interface & Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for the business department and work closely with external partners and service providers.
- End-to-End Delivery: Manage the entire process from analysis, conception, and coordination to implementation, test execution, and go-live.
- Ensure Operations: Guarantee the timely processing of daily payment transaction flows.
- Develop Payment Transaction System: Plan and implement the expansion of the software used together with the business department and external service providers.
What We're Looking For
- Education/Studies: In IT or banking, business informatics, mathematics, finance, or a comparable qualification – ideally with an insurance background.
- Experience: In business analysis within the financial sector.
- IT Affinity & System Proximity: Experience in release and testing procedures.
- Methodological Competence: Experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, and testing.
- Work Style & Soft Skills: Analytical and conceptual thinking, structured and independent work style, team and communication skills, and enjoyment of the role as an interface between the business department and IT.
- Expressiveness: Strong communication skills and very good German language proficiency in speaking and writing.

Requirements
- Ausbildung/Studium im IT- oder Banken-Umfeld, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Mathematik, Finanzen oder vergleichbare Qualifikation – idealerweise mit Versicherungshintergrund
- Erfahrung in der Business Analyse im Finanzumfeld
- Erfahrung im Release- und Testvorgehen
- Erfahrung in Anforderungsaufnahme, Prozessmodellierung und Test
- Analytisch-konzeptionelles Denken, strukturierte und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise, Team- und Kommunikationsstärke sowie Freude an der Rolle als Schnittstelle zwischen Fachbereich und IT
- Kommunikationsstärke sowie sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Responsibilities
- Anwendungsbetreuung des Zahlungsverkehrssystems: Anforderungen mit Fachbereich und Dienstleistern abstimmen, neue Abläufe und Prozesse konzipieren und dokumentieren, Integrationen in Umsysteme steuern sowie Releaseplanung und Tests begleiten
- zentraler Ansprechpartner für den Fachbereich und enge Zusammenarbeit mit externen Partnern und Dienstleistern
- von Analyse über Konzeption und Abstimmung bis zur Umsetzung, Testdurchführung und GoLive
- fristgerechte Verarbeitung der täglichen Zahlungsverkehrsläufe gewährleisten
- Ausbau der eingesetzten Software gemeinsam mit dem Fachbereich und externen Dienstleistern planen und realisieren
