Business Analyst/Product Owner

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced professional with deep domain expertise in Life Insurance and Annuities to act as a subject matter expert (SME). The candidate will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver compliant, customer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a domain expert in annuities, product structures, policy admin, claims, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
• Elicit, analyze, and document requirements, process flows, and system interactions.
• Collaborate with product owners, actuaries, underwriters, and IT to define, prioritize, and translate complex concepts into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support new product development, process analysis, workshops, and validation of requirements.
• Ensure solutions meet business goals, compliance standards, and customer needs, including UAT and post-implementation support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Life Insurance and Annuities, with strong understanding of product lifecycle and regulations.
• Proficiency in process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Experience with insurance platforms and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Tools proficiency: JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications like FLMI, ARA, CSPO, or PMI-ACP.
