Business Analyst/QA Engineer Jobs

About the Role

Piper Companies is looking for a Business Analyst/QA Engineer to join a government contractor based in Ashburn, VA. This is a hybrid role, requiring the candidate to report onsite 2-3 times a week and posses an active Top Secret clearance.

Essential Duties of the Business Analyst/QA Engineer

• Document requirements as user stories with acceptance criterion
• Design, develop, and execute automated scripts to validate software functionality, efficiency, and performance
• Support Section 508 compliance considerations during requirements definition and validation during testing
• Contribute to program deliverables, including weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, and stakeholder briefings

Qualifications of the Business Analyst/QA Engineer

• Bachelors Degree in related field
• 3+ years relevant, specialized experience
• Experience working with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements
• Experience developing and executing automated test scripts using automation frameworks or tools (Selenium, JMeter, TestRigor, or similar)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow is highly preferred
• xperience with manual Section 508 testing and tools (i.e. JAWS)
• Active DHS or Top Secret clearance

Compensation

• $110,000 - $125,000 (based on experience)
• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
