About the role
You will be joining Booking.com as a SaaS Business Application Engineer in the ServiceNow Platform Team based in the Indian CoE. Your primary role will involve working with the ServiceNow ITOM module, which plays a crucial role in transforming the business with digital IT, Employee, and Customer workflows.

As a Business Application Engineer in the ServiceNow Platform Team, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, configuring, installing, deploying, and maintaining the ServiceNow ITOM module, focusing on enhancing the experience for Booking.com employees.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and maintain the ServiceNow platform, specifically the ITOM module, ensuring sustainability and accountability for timely delivery of fixes/features. - Support and maintain the platform and underlying infrastructure, including MID Servers, service accounts, and security exceptions. - Maintain and manage multiple integrations with applications like OKTA, workday, JIRA, and other APIs. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management. - Apply engineering techniques to grow and accelerate business processes and monitor/alert applications and APIs using tools like Grafana.
**Qualifications Required:** - 6+ years of platform engineering experience on ServiceNow ITOM Module. - Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM modules Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management. - Deep understanding of CMDB design data integrity and dependency mapping. - Familiarity with ITIL and ITOM best practices. - Strong experience with Java and JavaScript-based applications, managing infrastructure components, and designing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems. - Valid/up-to-date ServiceNow Certified System Administrator CSA and ITOM related certifications. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
