About
As a Business Consultant - Substrate Mapping Professional (M/W/D), you are the central interface between our customers and our internal teams. You develop and implement innovative software solutions for the digitalization of manufacturing processes in high-tech industries, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing. Your role is crucial for the correct translation of customer processes and quality requirements into our software solutions for processing substrate, wafer, and DIE maps.
Responsibilities
- Primary technical contact for customers regarding wafer, substrate, and test data handling
- Analysis of customer manufacturing processes in the areas of wafer test, assembly, and final test
- Implementation of customer requirements into clear functional and technical software specifications
- Definition and review of software concepts for map handling and semiconductor data integration
- Ensuring the consistency and correctness of mapping and test data across all process stages
- Close collaboration with software development teams during implementation and validation
- Support in deployment, troubleshooting, and resolution of customer issues
- Identification of risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities in complex manufacturing data flows
- Contribution to best practices and documentation for semiconductor map handling solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Sound IT/software knowledge with an understanding of software architecture, data models and interfaces, system integration, industrial software solutions, ideally with a background in manufacturing IT or MES environments
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in the areas of wafer test/wafer sorting, assembly, final test
- Sound knowledge of semiconductor data formats and standards such as SEMI E142, SECS/GEM (E5), E183, G85, STDF
- Ability to analyze complex technical data flows and translate them into software requirements
- Experience working at the interface between customers, engineers, and software development teams
- Strong analytical and structured communication skills
