Your Role And Responsibilities

Business Development Analyst will assist DHS Client Partner, DHS Business Development Executives, and DHS Account Leads develop a long, medium, and short-term pipeline through extensive research utilizing government databases, including: [1] Sam.Gov; GovWin; Bloomberg; DHS APFS; IBM GWAC COE; Orange Slices; DHS Seminars; DHS Conferences; DHS Industry Days; DHS Reverse Industry Days; and related strategic engagements. Assist in providing opportunity development through the IBM BD lifecycle, including: identification, ISC entry, TDR Deck Development, Capture Support, Research, Opportunity Meeting Coordination, and Proposal Development Support.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Program & Project Management across federal IT and mission-critical environments
  • End-to-end delivery ownership: scope, schedule, cost, risk, and performance management
  • Stakeholder engagement with senior program leaders, clients, and technical teams
  • Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Proposal support, including Key Personnel identification and capture alignment
  • Technical foundation in cloud, cybersecurity, and systems engineering
  • Financial oversight: budget tracking, forecasting, and KPI management
  • Executive communication: briefings, reporting, and client-facing delivery
  • Experience with CRM tools and project management platforms
  • Leadership of distributed, cross-functional teams
  • Federal Business Development and Capture Support, Federal Procurement (5 years), Organized, Detail-Oriented.
