The Opportunity

We are looking for a senior Business Development Manager to lead commercial development in Switzerland and across Europe.

This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role, ideal for someone who combines industry expertise, strong network, and deal-making capabilities to drive adoption of innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and close new business opportunities within the poultry and agricultural sector
  • Leverage an existing network to accelerate commercial development
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing
  • Promote and sell a portfolio of AI-driven and technology solutions (productivity optimization, monitoring, automation)
  • Build long-term partnerships with farms, distributors, and key industry stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on operational efficiency and innovation
  • Work closely with the founder to define and execute the European go-to-market strategy
  • Contribute to expansion into additional industries over time

Your Profile

  • 10+ years of B2B business development or sales experience
  • Strong background in poultry, agriculture, or agri-tech
  • Proven track record in developing business and closing deals
  • Established network within the Swiss or European agricultural ecosystem
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a lean / startup environment
  • Ability to sell innovative or technical solutions (AI, automation, IoT, drones)
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
  • Fluent in English and German, French and Italian are a plus
