Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager based in Victoria, BC, with flexibility for remote work. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and develop strategies to achieve revenue growth. Responsibilities include conducting market research, generating leads, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to meet client needs. The role requires proactive communication with potential and existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management
- Market research and lead generation capabilities
- Negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience with strategic planning and revenue growth initiatives
- Proficiency in business tools and platforms, such as CRM software
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience or familiarity with small business operations is a plus
