About Our Client

Our client is a leading Austrian company in engineering and quality management, already acting as a strategic partner for some of the world's most renowned automotive manufacturers. Due to its excellent reputation with leading automotive groups, our client now has a clear ambition to become one of the key players and top suppliers in the German market as well. To drive this growth and expand its local presence, we are expanding the German team with an experienced expert (m/f/d) in this key position.

In this role, you will be the central "Door Opener" for the German market. Your focus will be on the holistic management of projects – from initial market exploration to long-term partnership.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identification and proactive development of new business potential with German OEMs.
  • You will manage the entire process from the initial RFI/RFQ phase through technical bid management to successful contract conclusion.
  • After project success, you will take over strategic customer support to ensure a sustainable and trusting collaboration.
  • You will work closely with the teams in other European branches to leverage synergies and implement best practices across locations.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers at management level.

Your Profile

  • Solid track record in Business Development or Key Account Management in the automotive industry (engineering services or Tier-1).
  • An active, "warm" network with German automotive manufacturers is required.
  • Deep understanding of automotive processes, quality standards (VDA, IATF), and the specific purchasing mechanisms of German OEMs.
  • Native-level German (C2) and fluent English (C1).
  • A results-oriented hunter type with excellent communication skills and the ability to represent our client at eye level with top management.
