About Us
We are building one of South Africa’s next-generation electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure companies, focused on deploying charging stations across major metros including Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban.
Our model targets high-traffic commercial locations such as hotels, shopping centers, mixed-use developments, and fleet operators. We partner with property owners to co-develop charging sites, install and manage the infrastructure, and generate recurring revenue through charging usage and service agreements.
This is an early-stage, high-growth opportunity to join a company positioned at the forefront of South Africa’s EV transition.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial individual to lead business development, sales, and marketing efforts.
This role is responsible for sourcing new site locations, closing partnership deals, building relationships with property owners, and driving overall revenue growth. You will play a direct role in scaling the company and shaping its market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and source high-value commercial locations for EV charger installations
- Build and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, and decision-makers
- Pitch EV charging solutions and negotiate partnership agreements
- Secure site hosts willing to contribute to installation costs
Sales
- Manage the full sales cycle: outreach → qualification → presentation → closing
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with potential partners
- Present financial and operational benefits of EV charging infrastructure
- Consistently hit and exceed monthly deal targets
Marketing
- Execute outbound marketing strategies (email, LinkedIn, direct outreach)
- Work with internal team/VA to generate and qualify leads
- Help build brand presence in the South African EV market
- Provide feedback on messaging, offers, and positioning
Ideal Candidate
- Strong sales and negotiation skills (closer mentality)
- Experience with EV, Solar and BESS required
- Experience in business development, real estate, or B2B sales
- Self-starter with high accountability and execution speed
- Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Interest in EV, infrastructure, energy, or emerging technologies
Compensation Structure
- Base Salary: R12,000/month
- Commission: Performance-based (uncapped earning potential)
- Significant upside tied directly to deals closed and revenue generated
