Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Mecho Autotech, youwill play a key role in executing strategic data analysis and reportinginitiatives under the guidance of the Head of Business Intelligence. You willbe responsible for supporting and coordinating the development anddissemination of insightful data reports and dashboards by performing varioustasks that adhere to established policies and procedures.

A typical day on the job will involve;

·Developing a solid understanding of the business, the contributionof each department, and the metrics that drive performance.

·Working jointly with department heads and analysts to define KPIsand reports for company-wide performance measurement.

·Implementing reports and dashboards using an Enterprise reportingsoftware.

·Performing ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions and seekdata-based insights for business operations improvement.

·Maintaining a corporate repository of metric definitions, ensuringclarity and consistency.

·Monitoring data quality and resolve any issues in collaboration withdata owners.

·Consulting with management and relevant stakeholders to definegoals.

·Researching, developing, and implementing data-gathering methods.

·Collaborating with coworkers and management to implementimprovements.

·Evaluating the effectiveness of implemented strategies.

Requirements

·At least two years’ experience in a similar role (businessanalyst, data analyst, reporting analyst, or quantitative analyst).

·Proficiency with reporting software like Tableau and a strongunderstanding of databases and SQL.

·Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics,Finance, Economics or a related field.

·Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen andarticulate your ideas clearly.

·Analytical, diligent, and rigorous in your approach to problems.

·Curiosity about data and a passion for finding answers hidden indata sets.

·Bonus points for experience in consulting, operations, statistics,predictive analytics, or SaaS.
