About the role

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a Business Process Analyst (Workflow Automation) focusing on HR technology ecosystem and enterprise‑wide decision‑making capabilities enhancement for Government and Public Services clients such as the National Science Foundation (NSF). The role is hybrid, based in Alexandria, VA and across the Mid‑Atlantic region.

Key objectives:

  • Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation.
  • Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence.
  • Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies.
  • Facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools.
  • Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and SLAs.

ServiceNow Enhancements/Development:
Develop and configure ServiceNow HRSD, ITSM, App Engine, and Virtual Agent solutions to support workflow automation, dashboarding, and employee experience initiatives. Implement custom ServiceNow solutions and workflow automation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Analyze workflows, identify automation opportunities, and map processes to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and configure ServiceNow HRSD, ITSM, App Engine, and Virtual Agent solutions.
  • Produce accurate documentation, insights, dashboards, and compliance evidence to support decision‑making.
  • Support ServiceNow implementations and SharePoint Online development.
  • Perform data, policy, control, and requirement analysis for ServiceNow development.
  • Generate artifacts such as diagrams and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
  • 4+ years of analysis experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, Visio, and ability to quickly learn additional tools.
