For the thematic board Data, a connecting leader is needed who, based on their expertise and substantive knowledge, is directive and guiding to realize the ambitions and objectives of the thematic board in close collaboration with the involved stakeholders. The program manager fulfills the role of Strategic Epic Owner and is therefore responsible for the entire thematic board. This means developing and delivering services and products included in the plan of approach. The program manager must be able to analyze and act across directorates and businesses and easily switch between operational, tactical, and strategic levels and vice versa.
The directors' meeting (DO) forms the highest management layer of the thematic board. This meeting is chaired by the Director-General of Execution (HDU) in the presence of the DG-DUO. The Director of Registers and Exams (R&E) acts as the client and will agenda the thematic board at the DO with appropriate frequency. The assignment is financed from the resources within the framework of 'Working on Execution' (WaU). An Obeya approach is used within this task. The Strategic Epic Owner chairs the thematic board.
The goals, scope, and delimitation are laid down in the plan of approach of the thematic board, which is based on the underlying initiatives established by the DO, as well as the approach, management, planning, and resources. You are expected to have a critical view of the current approach and planning of the thematic board and a proactive attitude in making improvement proposals.
