Business Systems / Data Analyst (Fixed Income)

We are seeking a Business Systems / Data Analyst with Fixed Income expertise to join a high-performing data operations team supporting front-office investment functions. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, validation, and delivery of critical financial data and analytics used by portfolio managers, analysts, and quantitative teams.

You will play a key role in supporting enterprise-level investment platforms, working with large datasets, and ensuring high-quality analytics related to portfolio risk, performance, and attribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and manage financial data across multiple systems and sources
• Ensure accuracy of security-level analytics and portfolio risk metrics
• Support daily data operations and meet strict delivery timelines (SLAs)
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies
• Work closely with investment teams including Portfolio Managers, Analysts, and Quants
• Support and maintain vendor platforms used for portfolio analytics
• Collaborate with global teams across business and technology

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Fixed Income instruments (bonds, derivatives, etc.)
• Experience in data analysis or operational support roles
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel (Python is a plus)
• Experience working with financial data and analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant industry experience
• Familiarity with portfolio analytics or market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg or similar tools)
• Exposure to asset management or buy-side environments
• Knowledge of portfolio accounting or risk systems
