Position Overview
As a Business Web Analyst at Autodesk, you will bridge digital analytics and business analysis to help teams make better, data‑driven decisions. In this role, you will analyze web performance and customer behavior while also evaluating business opportunities, estimating potential impact, and supporting prioritization decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into measurable analyses
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
- Experience building business cases, impact estimates, or ROI models to support decision‑making
- Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills, including data analysis, modeling, and visualization
- Experience querying and analyzing data using SQL
- Ability to communicate clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders and leadership
- Degree in business, analytics, engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital analytics, business analysis, strategy, operations, consulting, or related roles
- Understanding of digital eCommerce metrics and customer behavior analysis
- Experience evaluating initiatives across revenue impact, cost savings, customer experience, or operational efficiency
- Familiarity with dashboarding and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of trade‑offs, opportunity cost, implementation complexity, and time to value
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to turn analysis into recommendations for leadership
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze web and business data to identify customer behavior & journey, trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
- Assess website and business initiative performance using metrics such as traffic, engagement, conversion, business impact, effort, and risk
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to scope opportunities, define problem statements, and translate ambiguous requests into structured analyses
- Build business cases and lightweight estimation models to evaluate whether proposed efforts or investments are worth pursuing
- Collaborate with marketing, product, operations, finance, analytics, and technical teams to validate assumptions and improve decision‑making
- Generate dashboards, reports, and executive‑ready insights that communicate performance, opportunity sizing, ROI, and prioritization rationale
- Track actual outcomes against projected impact and use learnings to improve future analysis and estimation accuracy
