C / C++ Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) für Embedded Systems
Windhoff Group
About the role
About Us
In 25 years of company history as a service provider, long-term and close partnerships with large companies and corporations have been established. As a down-to-earth, medium-sized company with more than 250 employees, we offer you a secure working environment and the development of technologies for leading industrial companies.
Our Mission: Projects. Together. Develop.
Your Role
As a C / C++ Software Developer (m/f/d) for Embedded Systems, you will implement diverse development projects at our own locations, at the customer's site, or remotely.
We hire throughout Germany, so you don't have to move for us and can generally work remotely. In this position, Windhoff employees are usually on-site at our Gütersloh location or at the customer's site 3-4 days a week. If necessary, we will provide you with a hotel room or a project apartment. On-site presence is necessary because you will be working with hardware in some instances.
Responsibilities
- As a Windhoff employee, you will apply your expertise across various industries, such as the automotive industry, household appliance development, renewable energy, or measurement and medical technology.
- Depending on the project, you may be involved in different development phases, such as architecture, implementation, or validation.
- In our projects, complex software systems are developed based on common platforms like Linux and Windows, processor technologies (e.g., ARM, Infineon, Intel), and bus systems (CAN, LIN, or other fieldbuses).
- In addition to manual code creation in C/C++, model-based approaches for automated code generation and simulations based on tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or Target Link are also of great importance.
Qualifications
- You already have several years of experience in C/C++ development of embedded systems.
- You are familiar with real-time operating systems and low-level programming in the environment of microcontrollers and microprocessors.
- You already work according to agile methods like Scrum or are willing to expand your knowledge of classic methods (e.g., V-Model).
- You are communicative and have good German and English skills to coordinate within the team as well as with the customer.
- Furthermore, you are willing to quickly learn new technologies and continuously expand your knowledge.
Benefits
- Permanent employment contract
- Long-term projects with changing technological challenges
- A fixed budget for further training
- Good work-life balance through flexible working hours and a working time account
- Leasing options for company cars, private IT hardware, and bicycles
- Short communication channels within the company, fair treatment of each other, and enjoyable team events
