About the role
Overview
You will work in an interdisciplinary development team on challenging automation projects and help shape modern control software. You will benefit from targeted learning opportunities, short decision-making paths, and room for your own ideas. Technologically, you will work with programming languages such as C++, C# and similar tools, as well as version control and CI solutions like Git, Bitbucket and common integration tools. Your field of activity includes software design, test processes, and supporting technical pilot projects with customers in Germany and in selected international situations.
Your Tasks
- Develop and expand control and service components for automated systems
- Conceive software solutions and implement requirements into modular implementations
- Implement and maintain user interfaces with suitable UI frameworks
- Create and perform unit and integration tests as well as test documentation
- Support pilot projects and accompany technical rollouts at customer sites
- Work closely with electronics, mechanics, and systems teams
- Document technical solutions and create status reports for project management
Your Profile
- Experience with professional software development in C++
- Knowledge of C#, UI frameworks such as WPF and modern development tools
- Experience with Git-based workflows and continuous integration approaches
- Willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams and communicate confidently in German and English
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Openness to occasional travel for project support
