Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Develop PC tools including GUIs (C++, Qt, Python) to design-in our automotive smart power microcontroller microcontroller products in the area of IPD Devices - those tools are used by the customer to configure, analyze and tune the device and application
• Drive technical discussions to solve challenging problems in the development and to harmonize our offering
• Collaborate in the enhancement and ease of use of our PC tooling framework and GUI capabilities
• Continuously improve our agile SW development process and foster best-practices
• Work in a diverse team with stakeholders from various groups like technical marketing, system architects and other software developers

Your Profile You listen actively to your stakeholders and consider their point of view, thoughts, and ideas. You enjoy working “hands on” and concentrate your creativity and knowledge on producing results with real added value. You think and act in a cooperative way and cooperate across boundaries and appreciate the contributions of other people. You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Software Development, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with focus on software development
• At least 5 years’ experience in software development including GUIs using C++, Qt and Python adhering to software design principles for clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Experience in embedded software development using protocols like SPI, CAN & LIN on ARM Cortex-M Microcontrollers is a bonus
• Knowledge in automotive LED lightning applications is a plus
• Experience with knowledge sharing, ticket and software application lifecycle management systems (e.g. Atlassian Confluence, Jira or comparable)
• Experience in agile software development using SCRUM is a plus
• Proactive, creative and willing to drive for solutions and results rather than react
• Fluent English and good German communication skills
