Calibration Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Calibration Technician to join a leading pharma/biotech environment. This is a hands‑on role focused on ensuring laboratory equipment accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment
• Manage and coordinate external vendors for calibration activities
• Review and approve calibration documentation and ensure compliance
• Handle investigations, deviations, and CAPAs related to equipment
• Support thermal mapping and validation activities
• Maintain SOPs and CMMS records with high accuracy
• Collaborate with QA, Validation, Engineering, and Lab teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years (with degree) or 9+ years (without) in calibration/metrology
• Experience in Pharma/Biotech or regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, GxP, FDA regulations
• Hands‑on experience with CMMS, loop calibration, and lab instrumentation
• Experience handling CAPAs, deviations, and investigations

Nice to Have

• Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
• Experience in CLIA or R&D lab environments
• Exposure to analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, etc.)
