Senior Test Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with deep Calypso domain expertise to join our team in Edison/Iselin, NJ. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our trading platform, specifically focusing on Interest Rate Derivatives, Foreign Exchange Options, and Commodities. You will bridge the gap between complex financial trading requirements and robust automation solutions in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation testing efforts for the Calypso platform, covering Front, Middle, and Back Office modules.
• Validate complex trade lifecycles for Foreign Exchange (FX), Interest Rate Derivatives, and Commodities.
• Ensure accurate trade booking across multiple asset classes and validate regulatory reporting compliance (CFTC, EMIR, CAD).
• Oversee testing for payment processing, accounting, confirmations, and collateral management processes.
• Collaborate within an Agile framework to support platform upgrades and continuous integration.

Core Technical Expertise

• Calypso Application: Mandatory, high-level hands-on experience.
• Automation: Prior experience with CATT (Calypso Automation Test Tool) is a significant plus.
• Trading Products: Strong knowledge of derivative products, trade booking, and lifecycle events.
• Domain Knowledge: 4–6 years of experience in Foreign Exchange, ISDA, ETD, and FX Contract Management.

Functional & Regulatory Knowledge

• Regulatory Reporting: Familiarity with CFTC, EMIR, and CAD requirements.
• Back Office Operations: Deep understanding of payment processing, accounting, and confirmations.
• Risk & Collateral: Solid understanding of Collateral Management and ISDA SIMM methodologies.
• Analytics: Working knowledge of BPS Analytics concepts.

Professional Background

• Agile Proficiency: Solid experience working in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Platform Experience: Prior involvement in Calypso upgrades or experience with similar Tier-1 trading platforms.

Top Skills Required:

• Calypso Application (Advanced hands-on expertise).
• Derivatives Trading (Booking, Regulatory Reporting, and Product Knowledge).
• End-to-End Module Knowledge (Payment Processing, Accounting, Collateral Management, and ISDA SIMM).
