About the role

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute a door-to-door canvassing strategy to generate qualified solar leads
  • Recruit, train, manage, and coach a field canvassing team
  • Create and maintain canvassing materials including training content, scripts, and printed collateral
  • Oversee canvassing and field marketing budget
  • Research, select, and implement canvassing and lead-tracking software
  • Establish and maintain processes for lead capture, data accuracy, analysis, and follow-up
  • Represent the brand professionally in neighborhoods across NYC
  • Coordinate field operations including territory planning and performance tracking
  • Work some evenings and weekends as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of canvassing or door-to-door sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing canvassing teams
  • Strong communication skills with an educational, customer-focused approach
  • Experience with CRM systems, lead-tracking software, and Google Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform walking, standing, and stair climbing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of consumer psychology
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience in solar or renewable energy
