About the role
Job Duties
- Develop and execute a door-to-door canvassing strategy to generate qualified solar leads
- Recruit, train, manage, and coach a field canvassing team
- Create and maintain canvassing materials including training content, scripts, and printed collateral
- Oversee canvassing and field marketing budget
- Research, select, and implement canvassing and lead-tracking software
- Establish and maintain processes for lead capture, data accuracy, analysis, and follow-up
- Represent the brand professionally in neighborhoods across NYC
- Coordinate field operations including territory planning and performance tracking
- Work some evenings and weekends as required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of canvassing or door-to-door sales experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing canvassing teams
- Strong communication skills with an educational, customer-focused approach
- Experience with CRM systems, lead-tracking software, and Google Suite
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors and perform walking, standing, and stair climbing for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of consumer psychology
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience in solar or renewable energy
