Job Description
As a valued member of Fannie Mae's Treasury and Capital Markets (TCM) division, the Product Management - Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the Hedging and Securitization functions of the Whole Loan Desk, primarily through designing, developing and testing the functionality for new products, as well as ongoing implementation, enhancement, or maintenance of existing products. You will work closely with Whole Loan Traders, internal stakeholders, and engage with cross-functional teams to align strategic initiatives, deadlines, and deliverables. You will gain broad exposure to large and impactful lines of business across TCM, and your work will influence decision making and generate tangible value. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, business acumen, and comfort working in a fastpaced environment.

The Capital Markets - Product Management - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Build trusted partnerships with internal customers through proactive engagement, responsiveness, and consistently high-quality deliverables.
- Support a broad set of business functions related to Hedging and Securitization, gaining exposure to multiple stakeholders, products, and workflows.
- Support development and implementation of new products and upgrades for vendor provided COTS product.
- Identify opportunities for product improvements.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring business users feel supported and heard during the validation phase.
- Manage the product lifecycle and ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure product strategy is in alignment with business objectives.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences:
- At least 2 years of experience in product management and system testing
- Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
- Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
- Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
- Experience using product management tools like Jira or Confluence
Desired Experiences:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- Strong proficiency in the suite of Microsoft products, such as PowerPoint, Excel.
- Skilled in SQL
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with stakeholders and work effectively within a diverse team.

Location
For most roles, employees are expected to work onsite on a regular basis at their designated office location. In-office work cadence is determined by your manager. Proximity within a reasonable commute to your designated office location is preferred unless the job is noted as open to remote.

Target Salary: $109,000-$142,000 a year
