Job Overview

The Cards Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of card-related initiatives across credit, debit, prepaid, commercial, and digital card platforms. The role focuses on project management, business analysis, stakeholder coordination, compliance, and delivery governance within the cards and payments domain.

Experience

  • Experience managing cards and payments projects required.
  • Experience in credit, debit, prepaid, or commercial card platforms required.
  • Experience with project management and business analysis activities required.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technology and business teams required.
  • Experience with PCI, AML, and KYC compliance processes preferred.
  • Experience working with payment networks, processors, and vendors preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of cards-related projects and initiatives.
  • Drive project planning, estimation, scheduling, tracking, and reporting activities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across business, operations, compliance, risk, and technology.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Conduct risk assessments, mitigation planning, and issue resolution.
  • Support card onboarding, lifecycle management, underwriting, and transaction processing initiatives.
  • Oversee enhancements related to digital wallets, tokenization, and card platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and project success metrics.
  • Coordinate with development teams to translate requirements into deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with payment processors, issuing partners, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate workshops, governance meetings, and requirement discussions.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
  • Prepare dashboards, executive summaries, and project status reports.
  • Track financials, resources, and project change requests.
