Caregiver

About the Role:

As a Caregiver at Belmont Village, you will provide personal assistance to a group of seniors living in our thriving Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role is perfect for individuals who are reliable, compassionate, and eager to engage meaningfully with older adults.

Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

• Providing personal assistance with daily activities for assigned senior residents.
• Encouraging social engagement and facilitating participation in community activities while ensuring resident safety and wellness.
• Documenting daily care and services provided, following customized service plans and communicating any changes to supervisors.
• Maintaining care, safety, and cleanliness standards in accordance with compliance regulations.
• Offering hands-on support with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Effective communication skills in verbal and written English
• Experience as a caregiver or relevant training in care provision
• Ability to work the required schedule, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Skills and Characteristics:

• At least one year of direct care experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing environment
• Adept at following detailed instructions and collaborating as part of a team to achieve common goals
• Self-directed with strong organizational and time management capabilities
• Observant, reliable, adaptable, and respectful
