Carpenter

About the role

A growing carpentry and joinery business is looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join the team. They specialize in high-end, custom-built woodwork designed to transform residential spaces into functional, beautiful environments.

You will be involved in the design, manufacturing, and installation of a wide range of custom carpentry projects, including:

• Bespoke kitchens and cabinetry
• Built-in cupboards and wardrobes
• Custom furniture pieces
• Entertainment units and feature installations
• Unique, one-of-a-kind projects tailored to client needs

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a cabinetry/joinery cabinet making environment.
• Industry experience in joinery, cabinet making, or shopfitting manufacturing, assembling & fitting cupboards.
• Matric is advantageous.

Machine experience Essential:

• Panel saw – full competency must read & execute cutting lists
• Planner – full competency
• Jointer – full competency
• Edge bander – basic competency
