The COFAQ Group is looking for a Category Manager H/F for its Interior/Exterior Environment division, bringing together suppliers in the agricultural, livestock, groundskeeping, gardening, pet, hardware, trailer, and lubrication sectors.
In a context of transformation and development of the offer, you will manage a strategic perimeter and actively contribute to the performance and structuring of purchasing.
Responsibilities
- Define the offer strategy and manage the economic performance of the division (turnover, margin, rotation, stock), implementing necessary corrective actions.
- Propose concrete actions to optimize profitability and develop the division's results.
- Co-construct and monitor Commercial Action Plans (PAC), lead member Working Groups and purchasing committees.
- Ensure the dissemination of information to members, internal departments and service providers, and integrate feedback from the field.
- Participate in trade shows and conduct competitive, technological, and sectoral monitoring to anticipate trends and customer expectations.
- Manage, federate, and develop your team's skills, coordinate missions, and manage the division's indicators and budget.
- Represent the Group with members and suppliers in your area.
- Foster collaboration between departments to ensure the overall performance of the division and alignment with the company's strategy.
Qualifications
- Graduated from a business, marketing, or purchasing program.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Solid management skills.
- Good knowledge of the interior/exterior environment sectors (agricultural, livestock, groundskeeping, gardening, pet, hardware, trailers, lubrication) is an asset.
- An understanding of the challenges of retail and specialized distribution will also be appreciated.
- Proactive, autonomous, and organized, you demonstrate curiosity, good analytical skills, and enjoy teamwork.
