About the Role
You will join our Media Distribution Platform Department, responsible for distributing our content across all our broadcast channels for France and internationally. You will join our "Player" team, composed of 10 people, working on all the player functionalities of the CANAL+ app (multi-live, download to go, HLS, adswitching, etc.) as well as on all iOS and Android devices.
Our technical stack: Swift, UIKit, SPM, SwiftUI, AVPlayer, FairPlay, HLS Interstitiel, Gitlab
Our projects:
- Convergence and globalization of the CANAL+ app in our different territories: Central Europe and South Africa.
Your Role and Missions
- Contribute to the redesign of our CANAL+ app on iOS (TV OS, macOS & all iOS platforms)
- Participate in the redesign of our continuous improvement approach (deployment process, tooling, etc.)
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews
- Be proactive in proposing evolutions for the application and developed modules
- Conduct technical watch on Apple technologies for products as soon as they are available: software and hardware
