In this role, you will be part of ELITS Canada’s R&D division, focusing on enhancing the performance and scalability of our Ceph-based infrastructure. You’ll apply your C++ expertise, troubleshooting skills, and depth in performance tuning to real-world challenges while mentoring the IaaS and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize Ceph code and architecture
• Troubleshoot performance at scale, affecting thousands of clients
• Mentor internal teams on Ceph best practices
• Contribute patches and design ideas to the Ceph project
• Maintain internal build pipelines for compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience with Ceph in multi-petabyte environments
• Strong C++ development skills for system software
• In-depth knowledge of performance tuning techniques
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking
• Experience with Ansible and Python for automation
