Role Description
This is a full-time Certified Public Accountant (CPA) role based on-site in Washington, DC. The CPA will handle responsibilities such as preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial statements, overseeing tax preparation processes, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role also includes budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support the university’s operations and goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Statements preparation and analysis
- Proficiency in Tax Preparation and regulatory compliance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in an academic, nonprofit, or public sector organization is a plus
