About the role
About
Are you a CFP professional with strong risk product expertise? Join a respected wealth team where servicing excellence comes first.
Is this you? You're a Certified Financial Planner who takes pride in delivering thoughtful, holistic advice. You're detail-oriented, relationship-driven and confident discussing life cover, risk structures and retirement solutions. You enjoy maintaining long-term client relationships, providing proactive reviews, and identifying opportunities to strengthen financial plans. Professional, empathetic and commercially aware, you balance compliance with genuine client care.
What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You'll manage and service an established client base, conducting regular reviews, reassessing risk profiles and ensuring financial plans remain aligned to clients' goals. A key focus will be advising on risk products, particularly life cover, as well as retirement annuities and related structures. Working closely with internal support teams, you'll ensure seamless administration and regulatory compliance while identifying opportunities to grow assets under management. Incentives reward book growth, but your core focus will be delivering consistent, high-quality advice and maintaining trusted relationships.
Where you'll be doing it
Our client is a well-established, boutique wealth management business known for delivering holistic financial planning to high-net-worth families. With a strong compliance culture and collaborative team environment, they combine personalised advice with robust operational support, enabling advisers to focus on meaningful client engagement and long-term wealth preservation.
What you'll need
You must be a registered CFP professional with solid experience advising clients on risk products, particularly life cover. Experience with retirement annuities and holistic financial planning is essential. You'll bring strong technical product knowledge, regulatory understanding, and at least five years' relevant advisory experience. You will be office based in Claremont so only candidates currently residing in southern suburbs Cape Town can be considered.
What you'll get
A fixed monthly salary plus incentives linked to growth of the client book. You'll join a stable, reputable firm offering strong administrative support and a professional environment focused on long-term client relationships.
