About Cerema

The Cerema is the reference establishment in the fields of public expertise and engineering to support territories in their climate change adaptation missions. Direction technique Risques, Eaux et Mer

The Risk, Water and Sea Technical Directorate, which has 169 positions across 4 sites, carries out missions of expertise, knowledge dissemination and research in the fields of water, risks, the coast, marine renewable energies, maritime and river transport, and innovation and digital technology. Within Cerema, it provides technical expertise, manages production and service offerings, and monitors major national accounts.

Département « Prototypes et projets numériques »

The "Prototypes and Digital Projects" department is responsible for the study, development, valorization, and maintenance of prototypes for Cerema. It participates in the animation of the TSNI sector and develops digital business tools.

Groupe « Conception Prototypes »

Within the department, the "Prototype Design" group studies and designs prototypes in connection with the projects of the business sectors and research activities.

Responsibilities

The Study Engineer is responsible for carrying out industrial IT studies for Cerema prototypes assigned to them.

Qualifications

  • Participate in the development of specifications and technical proposals

  • Carry out industrial IT design, algorithms, software, and schematics
  • Comply with quality processes and applicable standards

Reporting Structure

Hierarchical reporting to the Head of the "Prototype Design" group within the D2PN

Functional reporting to the Project Manager

Functional relationships with the Deputy Head of the group, and internal project managers within the department

  • Solid technical knowledge in computer programming, computer languages, software development processes, data acquisition, filtering, and processing
