Product Manager for Sensors

Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power AG is part of the Angst+Pfister Group based in Zurich. We develop and market high-quality sensor and energy solutions based on qualified and in-depth technical advice, and supply OEM customers in demanding industries (medical, sensor, automotive, automation, etc.) with sensors for physical and geometric quantities (pressure, gas, flow, acceleration, displacement, angle, inclination), power supplies, and drive solutions.

Your Role

Then we are looking for a Product Manager for Temperature and Pressure Sensors.

Your Mission

• You assume overall technical and commercial responsibility for the product portfolio in the field of temperature and partially pressure sensors.
• You develop and implement, in collaboration with the Business Segment Manager and the R&D department, the product and segment strategy for successful market positioning.
• You lead product and development projects and work closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Your focus is on highly precise temperature sensors based on CMOS, including new generations and customer-specific designs (e.g., medical technology).
• You are the technical and commercial contact for customers, suppliers, and partners, including pricing and negotiations.
• You support sales through in-depth technical advice, project support, and participation in complex bids.
• You manage key accounts in Europe and worldwide and coordinate demanding customer projects.
• You ensure product quality and coordinate quality issues with customers and suppliers.

Your Profile

• Degree in engineering (electrical engineering or equivalent, e.g., medical technology / physics).
• More than 5 years of experience as a product manager or developer with strong technical understanding; knowledge of sensor technology is an asset.
• Experience in customer technical consulting, project work, and collaboration with suppliers (Asia a plus).
• Structured and autonomous working method, entrepreneurial spirit, and excellent communication and project management skills.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Availability for travel of approx. 10–20% (customer and supplier visits).
