Your daily life
On a state-of-the-art Bordeaux Campus, between the ocean and vineyards, we design and develop systems, equipment, and services to ensure the success of our clients' airborne missions.
The Tests and Integrated Support Solutions (TSIS) department develops, produces, and maintains functional test equipment for devices such as radars and digital computers embedded in Rafale, Mirage2000, maritime patrol aircraft, helicopters...
Within the department, you will be responsible for leading the development of these test benches. With the engineers assigned to you, you will be responsible for the usual triad of cost, deadline, and quality.
Main missions
- Plan, lead and coordinate all test bench engineering activities (project structuring, team organization, deliverable breakdown, specifications, hardware development, software development, manufacturing monitoring, integration, validation...) in compliance with Thales processes, product policy and the TSIS department's subcontracting model.
- Be responsible for the configuration management of the test means under his responsibility.
- Manage the financial lot and the project schedule.
- Manage risks & opportunities.
- Ensure reporting to TSIS management and the prescribing authority.
Your profile
Is your priority to lead the development of products or test equipment for embedded systems?
Do you have the ambition to manage innovative projects, by uniting multidisciplinary teams in a demanding technical environment?
Do you want to discover the world of electronic warfare, radar, and cutting-edge computers?
Do you have an Engineering degree in electronics, hyperfrequency, or industrial computing, and experience in:
- Project management in the development of products (electronic board, high-frequency board, box, system) and test equipment for aeronautical embedded systems,
- Transverse (non-hierarchical) management of multidisciplinary teams,
- Processes, methodologies and tools for development project management,
- Solid technical skills in industrial electronics and computing.
