Collège de France
About the role
About Us
Le Collège de France is a public institution for higher education and research. It is unique in France and has no equivalent abroad. Le Collège de France has a dual mission: to be a place for the most daring research and for its teaching. Dedicated to fundamental research, Le Collège de France has the unique characteristic of carrying out and then teaching "knowledge as it is being formed in all fields of letters, sciences, or arts." Located on various sites in Paris (place Marcelin Berthelot, rue du Cardinal Lemoine, rue d’Ulm, Belle Gabrielle), the institution hosts a thousand people: teacher-researchers, researchers, doctoral and post-doctoral students, engineers and technicians, librarians, and administrative staff. Le Collège de France is an associate member of the Université Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL).
Mission Context
On the occasion of its 500th anniversary in 2030, Le Collège de France is implementing an exceptional program of scientific, cultural, and institutional events (international conferences, exhibitions, publications, audiovisual productions, public events).
