Located on the North Sea coast and part of a leading global pharmaceutical group, our client combines the agility of a 200-person team with the power of a global player. We are seeking an experienced leader who views finance not just as administration, but as the strategic backbone of the company. We are looking for a strategic thinker who loves numbers, optimizes processes, and elevates accounting to the next level.

Your Mission – Creating Value, Not Just Managing Numbers:

• Technical Anchor: You are responsible for operational accounting and ensure smooth team processes. You share knowledge, coach on complex issues, and thus elevate the team's technical expertise.
• Ensuring Data Integrity: You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS. Your figures are reliable, and your reports are precise – forming the basis for all business decisions.
• Process Management: Whether it's accounts receivable, accounts payable, or fixed asset accounting – you hold the reins and ensure compliance guidelines and quality standards are met.
• Interface Management: You are the competent point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and the international headquarters. You communicate results clearly and manage audits confidently.
• Driving Progress: Stagnation is not an option. You optimize workflows, drive digitalization in accounting, and utilize SAP (R/3, S4/Hana) efficiently.

Your Profile – Competence Meets Desire to Shape:

• Solid Foundation: Successful degree (Business Administration/Finance) or a commercial apprenticeship with further training as a Certified Accountant (IHK) and several years of experience in a comparable position in an international environment.
• Methods & Tools: You are proficient in HGB and IFRS. SAP (FI/CO/AA) is your cockpit, and you use Excel professionally for analysis. With fluent German and English, you communicate confidently internationally.
• Analytical Acumen & Financial Understanding: You look beyond the surface of the balance sheet. You quickly grasp complex data and derive clear recommendations for action, rather than getting lost in details.
• Precision & Conscientiousness: "Approximately" is not in your vocabulary. You work precisely and structurally, delivering results that are audit-proof and that management can rely on implicitly.
• Mentality – Enabler, Not Doubter: You are committed and solution-oriented. You understand finance as an internal service that supports the business and act proactively, not reactively.
• Communication & Collaboration: You interact at eye level and communicate clearly at all levels – from colleagues to management. Flexibility is not a foreign word to you; you remain composed even during busy periods.
• Drive & Enthusiasm: You don't just manage the status quo. You have real drive to actively shape processes in a successful German company with an international corporate background.
• Fluent German and English are required.
